YMCA Video Featuring My Music

A great new video from Christopher King at www.endless-echo.com that features some of the music from my royalty free collections. The short film is an inspirational story about former pro boxer “terrifying” Tony Pollard and the help he received from the YMCA:

“Tony Pollard may have abandoned some of his healthy habits after quitting his pro boxing career 25 years ago, but he never forgot how to get back on his feet. He just needed the right place and the right support. The YMCA was all that.”

The music tracks featured are Spring Harvest, April Showers and  The Falling Snow from volumes 3 and 5 of my royalty free music collections:

Evolution The Grand Experiment Episode 2 Documentary Music Clip

Living Fossils, Evolution: The Grand Experiment, Episode 2

Here’s a short clip from episode 2 of the TV documentary show Evolution: The Grand Experiment that I finished scoring the music soundtrack for earlier this year. The show features some stunning nature footage and underwater photography (seen in the video here) and the soundtrack includes more orchestral arrangements as well as acoustic guitar, piano and atmospheric ambient music.

The Club (Intro)

The Club (Intro) by Simon Wilkinson

Intro theme music to feature film The Club (Logun Media) starring Treva Etienne (Black Hawk Down, Pirates Of The Caribbean), my first feature film score. Marching military snares and atmospheric synth washes give the track an air of mystery and intrigue. This track is available to fully license for use in your own films or trailers.

New Ambient Space Music Album Released: Merging The Infinite

Simon Wilkinson: Spindrift [Ambient space music]

I’ve just released a new album of ambient space music and drone soundscapes titled Merging The Infinite. The album contains 10 tracks of longform atmospheric textural music with a total running time of over 1 hour and 42 mins. The album follows on stylistically from my previous releases Cryosleep Dreams and Perpetual Dimensions and ranges from calm, ethereal and airy drones to dark and edgy space music tracks with an ominous feel. Some of the tracks have a subtle Berlin-school feel (a la Tangerine Dream) with fluttering stereo arpeggios and sequences.

You can watch a promo video for one of the tracks called Spindrift above or buy the album here or over at Bandcamp and other major online stores.

Short Time Lapse Clip From Dakotalapse Featuring My Ambient Music

Sprites, Gravity Waves and Airglow

Here’s a new short but hypnotic time lapse video clip from photographer Randy Halverson at Dakotalapse featuring a brief extract from my atmospheric royalty free ambient space music collection. Hear more of my work in Randy’s previous videos here.

“On August 20th, 2014 I timelapsed a storm over central South Dakota with multiple cameras. I left for Wyoming without looking at most of the frames. I saw a post by Tom Warner about Sprites he caught on the same storm. Sprites are large scale electrical discharges that occur high above clouds. When I got back I went through the frames and found 7 with Sprites in them. The Sprites are only 1 frame each, so they will be a quick flash of red near the right side above the storm. The green Airglow is rippled by Gravity Waves, some faint Aurora moves in towards the end of the sequences, on the right side before the clouds cover it up.”

Head Cases: Serial Killers in the Delaware Valley - World Premiere Trailer #1 [HD]

Head Cases: Serial Killers In The Delaware Valley is a new fictional documentary style horror film from filmmaker Anthony Spadaccini at Fleet Street Films and features some of my dark atmospheric horror music. The film has been getting some great reviews and is definitely one for fans of dark psychological horror films.

“Serial killer Wayne Montgomery committed 41 murders between 1979 and 2007, leaving behind an extensive library of his life’s work. Now, a new generation carries on Wayne’s legacy in a terrifying world where rules do not apply. Take a trip through the mind of one of history’s most prolific serial killers -- and his devoted followers who are out for blood.”
