First Darkness - excerpt

Heretik

Heretik by Simon Wilkinson

Heretik is a short 30 second dramatic track ideal for car commercials or ads needing dark and mysterious music. Distorted guitar notes introduce the track bringing in heavy dark drums and breathy wordless vocals giving the track a dangerous ominous air of mystery. License this track for dramatic short promo stings, adverts and trailers by selecting from the options above.

Asakusa Temple

Asakusa Temple by Simon Wilkinson

Asakusa Temple is a gentle and reflective instrumental music track with a calming Far Eastern feel featuring plucked harp, strings, light percussion and subtle acoustic guitar. Slow, sparse and contemplative background music with a mysterious and downtempo dreamy feel that would work well for films, human interest documentaries or visuals with a focus on travel, nature or geography.

Oriental sounding instrumental especially suited for geographic themes of China or Japan, or scenes with a mood of mystery or mellow intrigue (e.g. diving or underwater images). Would also make ideal background music for subjects of wellbeing, mindfulness, hypnotherapy or yoga videos.

Awakening

Awakening by Simon Wilkinson

Dramatic piano music featuring strings, brass and subtle percussion. Suitable as dramatic trailer music or for use as inspiring background music in human interest documentaries about overcoming adversity.

Especially suited for documentaries and trailers focused on stories of personal journeys, social uprising (e.g. Occupy protests or human rights issues) and financial or corporate battles. The music is serious, atmospheric and cinematic with a powerful feel of epic majesty and inner strength and would also work well in time lapse films and commercials.

Begins with a cyclic piano riff and slowly builds momentum with lots of hit points before starting a dramatic and inspiring climax at 2:48 when epic strings and brass lead the track to an emotional peak. License this orchestral music track for use in your own documentaries, trailers and videos by selecting from the licensing options above.

Olympia by Simon Wilkinson

Inspirational uplifting music track featuring acoustic guitar, strings, cello, piano, drums and bass guitar. Ideal instrumental music for time lapse films, slideshows, credit sequences, sports highlights or olympics montage videos needing atmospheric, emotional and optimistic background music with a human feel.

Also ideal as instrumental background music for mobile app demos, guides, walkthroughs and video trailers. Clip From Documentary Exuma Featuring Some Of My Music

Fish Personalities

Here’s a short clip from a new documentary film by Colin Ruggiero called Exuma that features some of my music. The film features some stunning underwater and time lapse photography:

“The Exumas are a string of small islands in the Bahamas. “Exuma” is the first film to highlight the beauty of these remote “out islands.” The film is a view into this surreal world of sand, sky and water through the eyes and thoughts of a young woman who lives there. Underwater and time-lapse imagery are used to show a side of the Exumas that few people, even those lucky enough to have visited, have ever seen.”
